Certificate check

Verify a certificate

Every certificate we issue carries a 12-character code and a QR that points here. Type the code to confirm it is genuine.

Twelve characters, printed under the QR code. Letters O and I and the digits 0 and 1 are never used, so there is nothing ambiguous to guess at.
What this check proves. A valid result means we issued that certificate to that person for that course on that date. It does not confirm the identity of whoever showed it to you — ask for photo ID as well if that matters.

Where to find the code

Every certificate we issue is printed with a QR code in the lower corner and the twelve-character verification code directly beneath it. Scanning the QR opens this page with the code already filled in; typing it by hand works exactly the same way. The code is not a serial number that runs in sequence, so it cannot be guessed at from another certificate.

If you are an employer or a college

You do not need an account, an appointment or our permission to check a certificate. This page is public, it works from a phone, and it costs nothing. We deliberately show only what is printed on the certificate itself — the holder's name, the course, the completion date, the certificate number and the issue date. No marks breakdown, no contact details and no address is shown to anyone who enters a code.

A revoked certificate returns a clear red result rather than silently failing, so there is no ambiguity between "we never issued this" and "we issued it and later withdrew it".

What stands behind a certificate

Attendance here is recorded against real class sessions, not signed off at the end. A certificate is issued only once the student has met the attendance threshold for her course and passed any assessment that course requires. That is the whole point of publishing this check: the certificate means the work was done, and anyone can confirm it in about ten seconds.

If a code will not verify and you are sure you have typed it correctly, contact us with the certificate number and we will check the record by hand.
