Refund & Cancellation Policy

We would rather fix a problem than argue about a refund. This page says plainly when money comes back, when it does not, and what we offer instead.

Last updated: 30 August 2026

1. Registration fees

Where a registration or admission fee is charged, it covers the cost of enrolling you and is not refundable once your place is confirmed. It is always shown separately from the course fee before you pay, so you know what part of your payment it is.

2. Course and batch fees

When you tell usWhat happens
Before the batch starts Full refund of the course fee, less the registration fee.
After the batch has started No refund — but we will transfer you free of charge to a later batch of the same course. See below.
We cancel or cannot run the batch Full refund of everything you paid, including the registration fee — or a transfer to another batch, whichever you prefer.

Transfers instead of refunds

If something comes up after your course has begun, talk to us. We will move you to a later batch of the same course once, at no charge, rather than you losing the fee. Ask before the course ends. A second transfer is at our discretion.

Serious illness or family emergency

If you have to stop for a medical reason or a family emergency, tell us as soon as you can and bring supporting documents. We will consider a partial refund or a transfer on the merits, and we will be reasonable about it.

3. Memberships

  • Membership fees are not refundable once the membership is active, because your place on the floor and in the class was held for you.
  • We will freeze your membership for a genuine medical reason. Bring a doctor's note, and we add the frozen days to the end of your membership so you lose nothing.
  • Where we cannot run classes for an extended period for reasons within our control, we extend every affected membership by the same number of days rather than refunding.
  • A trial class or one-day pass is not refundable.

4. Studio appointments

  • Cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice — your deposit is refunded in full, or held against your next booking, whichever you prefer.
  • Cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or you do not arrive — we may keep the deposit, because the slot and the stylist's time were held for you and could not be filled.
  • We cancel or move your appointment — full refund of any deposit, or a new time that suits you.
  • A service already carried out is not refundable. If you are unhappy with the result, tell us within 3 days and we will put it right where we reasonably can.

5. Workshops and one-day programmes

Workshop fees are refundable in full if you cancel at least 3 days before the date. After that they are not refundable, because materials and trainer time are already committed. If we cancel a workshop, you are refunded in full.

6. Duplicate or incorrect payments

If you paid twice, or paid the wrong amount, tell us and send the transaction reference. We will check it and return the difference in full. This is never treated as a cancellation and no deduction applies.

7. How to ask for a refund

  1. Speak to reception, or write to us through the Contact page.
  2. Tell us your name, mobile number and the receipt or order number.
  3. Tell us what you are asking for and why, with any supporting documents.

We will confirm we have your request, and give you our decision within 7 working days.

8. How a refund is paid

Approved refunds go back to the account the payment came from, within 7 to 10 working days of approval. We do not refund to a different account than the one that paid — that protects you as much as us. You will get a record of the refund.

9. If you disagree with our decision

Ask for it to be reviewed by the manager or the owner. We would far rather resolve it directly than have you leave unhappy.
